Come get electrified with the sights, sounds, and colors of Electric Ocean event happening at SeaWorld on select days from May 27 through September 5, 2022. There are so many special shows, activities, and eats this event is perfect for all ages.
Electric Ocean wants to electrify all of your sense, give your taste buds a super charge with Electric eats. At seven different Electric Eats locations, you can try these summer special tasty dishes and themed cocktails.
During the day, make your way over to the Chick-fli-A Beach Clean Up area. Here are several sand tables set up at different heights so everyone can enjoy. Play in the sand and see what you can find. There are premade labeled wooden tiles hidden within the sand tables. These tiles are colorfully designed with recycled material. Once you find one place it on the correct number space on the SeaWorld Chick-fli-A mural. Once completed it forms a really cool picture of the Chick-fli-A cow chilling at the beach. This activity avaibleity changes so check with a staff member for hours.
Elmo Rocks is a younger audience focused show that is held in the Nautilus Theater. This show does fill up and is only offered during the day. If you are interested in seeing Elmo Rocks I would recommend that it is one of the first shows you see on your visit to SeaWorld.
If Electric Ocean event didn’t have so many amazing events going on, SeaWorld add an extra level of entertainment. During the summer on select days, enjoy some Energizing Concerts. Each day will have two showing of some amazing bands such as Little River Band, Parmalee, Fuel, Chase Matthew, Queensryche, Grupo Niche, Blue Oyster Cult, P.O.D, and Jefferson Starship. Make sure you get there early these shows will fill up quick! Check for show times and concert dates, as well as the ability to purchase a reserve seating for the concerts on the SeaWorld app and website.
Another daytime show is Rescue Tails. This show is held at the Seaport Theatre. SeaWorld has collaborated with Conservation Ambassadors from California to create a unique show with some of your favorite 2 and 4 legged friends. During this twenty-minute show, you will earn some interesting facts about the animals as well as their personal story on how they came to the Conservation Ambassadors.
Loved the show and want some more? Or maybe you didn’t make it Rescue Tails, don’t worry Rescue Tails Night Vision takes place in the evenings. Learn about a completely new set of animals who love to stay up late. With only two animals that make a repeat showing from Rescue Tails, be ready for a completely new show with Night Vision.
To kick off the evenings electrifying events with Club Electric Current, conveniently located across from Rescue Tails show at Seaport Theatre and Voyager’s Smokehouse (side note, they have a great smokehouse sampler plate). Here is the perfect opportunity to show off your dance moves. Don’t have any? That’s ok. There are dancers here to show you some moves and maybe learn one or two from you. This dance party is for all ages. Keep an eye out, during the dance party there are even some stilt walkers that come to dance with you.
Club Electric Current is fun, but Club Sea Glow definitely kicks it up with a super dance party before the Ignite 360 Firework Show. Take to the Bayside Stadium to dance the night away with neon lights, larger than life sea creatures and amazing dancers. Throughout Club Sea Glow there are mini performances made from the dancers and stunt shows. In-between the shows, it is your turn to dance on the stage. This is an electrifying way to get yourself ready for the final show of the night, Ignite 360.
To wrap up an amazing day is the Ignite 360 Firework Show. Ignite 360 can be seen anywhere around the SeaWorld’s central lake. For the most direct view of the show is at Bayside Stadium, you get a perfect viewing spot from the seats as well as Club Sea Glow stage. You can also see the show from the Orca Encounter Pathway and the Waterfront.
If you time your evening right you can get a snack or a late dinner from Lakeside Grill and site in the outdoor dining area for a great view of Ignite 360 (The dining area will be open during the firework show, the restaurant will not be, however you do not need to have purchased anything from the restaurant to use the dining area during the fireworks).
Ignite 360 is a combination of lights, fire, water features, fireworks and of course music. It is a perfect show ending to an electrifying day with SeaWorld’s Electric Ocean.
