Crayola Experience is having some friends stop by to help with a secret project, and you can help too! Come help the Kubota Machines build "Crayonville" inside of Crayola Experience. Kubota Machine Adventures is coming to all Crayola Experience locations, first stop Orlando.
During the Kubota Machine Adventures Event at Crayola Experience Orlando many of the current area themes have been changed and some areas have been completely taken over by Kubota. With 11 areas and several photo spots, you are going to have a full day of fun.
When you first enter the second floor make, sure you stop by and watch the Welcome Video. This short video talks about Kubota Machines and how to easily navigate to the Kubota activities. Don’t for get to grab your map!
First stop, Wrap It Up. Use one of tokens from your Kubota Machine Adventure bag you received when you walked into Crayola Experience to make your own crayon label. Pick from the many Kubota themed colors such as Tractor Orange, Green Grass and Flower Seed Pink. Choose an icon, add a name and print. Don’t forget to grab your crayon before you walk away. Take your crayon and personally designed wrap and bring it over to the wrap it station and Wah La, you created your own crayon.
Who is your Spirit Machine? Choose from these five different Kubota Machines to see which one you want to have your black and white picture taken with. This is your official Kubota Badge. After you take one or all five bring your sheets to the Colossal Caddy to color in. At the Colossal Caddy there is plenty of crayons and additional Kubota themed coloring sheets for you to enjoy. (Look at the bottom of the article for your color at home coloring sheets)
Across from the World’s Largest Crayon is Flower Madness at Modeling Madness. Here use your second Crayola Experience token for a package of modeling clay. Pick any color you like. Design a cool flower and rest it on the flower train to dry. Your special flower will be part of the flower parade at the “grand opening” of Crayonville. Next to the Color Playground is the Museum Scoop. Can you use Kubota Machines like the pros? I bet you can! Jump on these kid size Kubota machines and dig in the “flower beds”. How many marker caps can you move from one bed to another? Try all three different Kubota Machines.
In the back area of the Crayola Experience floor are three Kubota Machine Adventure activities. The first located at the Activity Studio is the Crayonville’s Time Capsule. What do you think Kubota Machine’s will be able to help people build in 2050? Write or draw a picture and add it to the time capsule in front of a photo spot of Kubota Machine “Digging a Pool”. After sit back and relax in Café Crayola and watch a short video on current Kubota Machines and what future Kubota Machines will do. For example having Kubota Machines having the ability to run on solar energy. Look around the rest of the Crayola Experience floor for additional Kubota Machine movies.
Directly next to the Café Crayola is the Baseball Field Upkeep tables. It is easy to miss these tables so make sure you look for them for this unique activity. Transform “grass clippings” aka crayon shavings into cool textured art. Take one of the crayon sharpers, create some shavings and glue them on. What a different idea on how to use crayons and the mess gets to stay there!
Make your way to the Adventure Lab for the Building a Pond activity. Personally, I think this is the coolest Kubota Themed activity at the Kubota Machine Adventures Event. Here you can use hand size Kubota to push and dig in a big sand table. What make this so cool is the moving projections on the sand. When you make a mound, trees and land animals such as elephants, zebras, and lions appear walking around. When you dig deep, blue and white water areas appear with swimming alligators and hippopotamus. Keep changing the levels of the sand to see the different animals appear. This super cool activity will keep everyone excited to see who will be crawling around next.
Outside of the Adventure Lab is a high-rise waiting to be built, but they still need a few more bricks to finish the job. Find a white “brick” box on the available coloring tables and put whatever design you want on it then add your work of art to the high-rise.
Across from the Adventure Lab is the Scribble Scrubbie, pick up your free Scrubbie by handing in your Scrubble Scrubbie ticket from your Kubota Machine Adventure bag. You can color your scrubbie friend as many times as you want and then just wash him off and color it again.
Crayola Experience knows that your new Scribble Scrubbie friend wants to be part of the Kubota Machine Adventure fun so pick up your Kubota tractor templet to build a Kubota Tractor. The Kubota Tractor is the perfect size for your Scribble Scrubbie to go for a drive and to pull one or two friends along. Make sure you add a lot of glue when putting it together (and reinforce with tape when you get home) or your tractor might break down.
The last area is the Kubota Design area at Outside the Box. How would Kubota Machines look in the future? Do you have any ideas? Take time at the Outside the Box area to develop and sketch out your Kubota Machine ideas.
No adventure would be complete without photos to document the journey. Throughout Crayola Experience on both floors, there are several photo spots. Three of these locations have actual size Kubota Machines, two of which you can safely climb on to get an in action photo. There are several pop out photo locations from Flower Madness to Baseball Field Upkeep. As you leave the Crayola Experience (on your way to the Crayola Store), there are several Spirit Machine Photo pop out spots. Make sure you take your picture with your favorite Kubota Machine.
Also enjoy some other great Crayola Experience activities such as Melt and Mold, Drip Art, Crayon Factory demonstration and more. After a fun filled day, you have successfully helped Kubota Machines help build Crayonville. Kubota Machines Adventure will only be visiting Crayola Experience for a short time, so make sure you stop on by.
