Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom focuses on Fantasy. It offers everything from under the sea to outer space in Tomorrowland. The Magic Kingdom is made up of 6 distinct sections.
Main Street USA
Main Street USA is inspired by Walt’s home town but meant to feel like any small town. It is your official welcome to the Magic Kingdom. You can travel along Main Street in a horse drawn carriage or trolley, and you’ll pass the Bake Shop, Ice Cream Parlor, Disney Emporium and Main Street Cinema. At the end of the street you find the iconic Cinderella’s Castle.
Adventureland
Adventureland is home to classic attractions like the infamous Pirates of the Caribbean and Enchanted Tiki House. In Adventureland you can also find Pirate Adventure, an interactive mission to find hidden treasure where you can choose different quests. The quests are random and bring you all around Adventureland.
Frontierland
Travel back to the old west. Here you will find attractions such as Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain and The Country Bear Jamboree! Be sure to check out Splash mountain both here and in Disneyland park as they are different experiences. In Disney World, each log has 4 rows which seat 2 adults side by side (8 total) and in Disneyland, the log holds 4 in single file fashion which changes the perspective of the big drop.
Liberty Square
Dedicated to the birth of our nation simulating Philadephia in 1776 and the American Revolution. This area is unique to Disney World. Be sure to enjoy a meal at Liberty Tree Tavern, ride on the Riverboat or take a photo with an authentic Revolution era replica of the Liberty Bell. Oh, and also check out the Haunted Mansion. Can you tell me if the floor in the front room is sinking or if the ceiling is raising?
Fantasyland
New Fantasyland as it is known since its recent redesign is what I refer to as the classic section. While it features rides like the Mad Tea Party, Its a Small World, Peter Pan’s Flight & Dumbo the Flying Elephant, it also features new attractions such as Journey to the Little Mermaid & The Seven Dwarves Mine Ride. Fanatasyland also has one of the two most sought after dining reservations on property, Be Our Guest & Cinderella’s Royal Table in the castle.
Tomorrowland
Blast off to fun and excitement in futuristic Tomorrowland. Popular attractions include Buzz Lightyear’s Spin & Space Mountain. Coming soon to Tomorrowland is TRON Lightcycle which will replace the Tomorrowland Speedway.
