Imagine yourself back in time to the early 1900’s leisurely walking down the boardwalk, enjoying the sights. That is what it feels like to be at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. Disney’s BoardWalk inn is themed in the heart of Americana. We all remember the long summer days of our youth. For many, this memory includes the beach and days at the pier of Coney Island, the Jersey Shore or even elsewhere! Disney’s BoardWalk Inn recaptures that vibe of Endless Summer.

Walk around the resort and experience the nostalgia. When you are ready to have some fun make your way to Luna Park Pool inspired by the one and only New York Coney Island. The Luna Park Pool is the largest of the three pools at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.

This uniquely shaped pool is totally the “Bee’s knees” complete with slide. You will totally find your “Laughing place” as you take twists and turns down this wooden roller-coaster looking slide. The end of the slide is in the middle of a beautiful mural of the sensational six. If you time a photo just right, it looks like you are enjoying the pools with your favorite Disney friends.

When looking directly at the mural bridge to the left there is, a carousel shaped building home to the Leaping Horse Libations Pool Bar. This is best place to get some “giggling water”, refill your drink cups or get a lite lunch. Keep an eye out for themed alcoholic beverages during your stay. The delightful staff from Leaping Horse Libations Pool Bar will also be walking around to take and deliver your orders.

Nestled between Leaping Horse Libations Pool Bar and the entrance to the Luna Park Pool Slide is a hot tub. This is a perfect way to relax after a long day at the park.

During the day in the center of the pool area Disney Cast Members will lead guests in some pool games such as Runaway Train, Fireworks, and Tiki Room Musical Colors. Make sure you check with a Disney Cast Member or look for pool information signs to find out what time the activities will be held.

When looking directly at the mural bridge to the right, there is a playful kiddie pool and Luna Park Crazy Play Area. Although kids can play anywhere the Luna Park Crazy Play Area, it has three distinct areas. The one jungle gym play area is designed for ages 5 and younger, and another jungle gym area is designed for ages 5 and up. The space in-between has some music making fun. No matter which space you play in you are bound to have a swell time.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has two additional pool areas besides Luna Park Pool Area. These leisure pools are located throughout the resort, one next to the Disney BoardWalk Inn Cottages, the other next to the Community Hall. These pool areas are less prominent, and offer a quieter swimming experience. Both Leisure Pools have a hot tub as well. Wether you are looking for fast paced, or leisurely swimming time there is a pool area for you. I guarantee you will have a “Hotsy-Totsy” time.
