It’s Back! It has been several years since anyone has see divers over at the Oyster’s Secret, but they are back! This is a great way to not only create a wonderful memory from your trip but it makes a great souvenir.

First to the left of the Oyster’s Secret shop you will find a SeaWorld Ambassador with a basket of bowls and tongs. You will receive a bowl and tong one for each pearl you plan to take home. After telling the diver where in the pool you would like them to look they will return with several oysters for you to choose from. Every oyster is guaranteed to have a pearl. The question is how big and what color.

After you pick out your oyster and place it in you bowl, make your way to the covered patio. Here you will find another SeaWorld Ambassador who is ready with some magic paddles to open your oyster. Say the magic works and pop its open. The SeaWorld Ambassador will not only clean the pearl for you but will also tell you how an oyster makes a pearl and the part of the oyster. It’s really interesting to learn about.

Now that you have your beautiful pearl make your way inside the Oyster Secret shop. Here the SeaWorld Ambassador will clean and measure your pearl. They will also tell you what the color of your pearl means as well as care instructions.

White coloring means Happiness and New Beginnings
Cream coloring means Joy
Pink coloring mean Beauty
Black (Very Rare) means Unity

At this point you can either pick out a mesh bag to put your pearl in to take home. You can also pick a beautiful piece of jewelry to display your pearl.

The Oyster Secret oyster diving is a very fun and informative experience, one which I recommend you do at least once or twice if you are looking for some new earrings. If you are not interested in the diving experience but still looking for pearls there is a large selection within the Oyster Secret Shop.
