When you think about McDonalds, you think of fast food of Big Macs, McNuggets, French fries and McCafe drinks. The McDonalds located at 6875 Sand Lake Road Orlando is not your average McDonalds. It's the World's Largest McDonalds, at 19,000 square feet. What makes this location so special? It is the atmosphere, entertainment and food.

From the outside the McDonalds looks like a modern traditional McDonalds with 2-lane drive through. Although inside is a whole different story. How many McDonalds have you been to that have a fish tank in the ordering area? Well this one does. You have your chose of ordering at the kiosk or you can go up to the counter and order with a McDonald’s Staff member. Make sure you take a look at the extensive menu before you order. The first floor has two refreshment stations. There is plenty of seating here, on the first and second floor.

Throughout the second floor you will find McDonalds icons thought the ages from Mack the Knife, the Hamburglar to Ronald McDonalds himself. Maybe you will find your favorite McDonalds icon.

The World’s Largest McDonalds does not have the typical PlayPlace, it has a full-on entertainment area. Frist pick up an Epic McD Funcard to have access to the arcade area. Have fun riding a virtual roller-coaster, race your friends down the streets of Tokyo on a virtual motorcycle or see which dinosaurs you spot in Jurassic Park. Try some classic games lie bowling, skeet ball, and air hockey. There is also a large Candy Crush, Pirates Hock, and the claw machine. Win some tickets? Make your way to the ticket counter before you leave to see what prizes you can cash out for.

The PlayPlace is two-story jungle gym for kids to run though complete with ropes course, tunnels and slides. Guaranteed to tire out kids of any age. Have a toddler? Check out the three and under play area.

Although the PLayPlace and arcade are loads of fun, lets talk about the real reason you stopped by...your hungry. The World’s Largest McDonalds has a very long menu. As you would expect there are all the usual suspects found on the McDonalds menu such as Big Macs, McNuggets, French Fries and Kids Meals

There are also a few thigs on the menu that you wouldn’t expect to find at McDonalds. For starters there are two brick pizza ovens. You can Build Your Own Pizza to order and watch them make it fresh. Choose what kind of sauce, cheese and toppings you want to add. You can also Build Your Own Pasta. Choose from the several kinds of pasta, pick a sauce, maybe add some meat and/or veggies to your dish. Watch them make it, then top with parsley and a garlic bread. Feeling like breakfast? There is also Fresh French Toast and Build Your Own Omelets available all day. All these options are served on real plates, It almost makes you feel like you aren’t at a McDonalds.

Build You Own Pizza: Garlic Parmesan Spinach & Onion Pizza

Save some room for dessert, there is McCafe! All your favorite McCafe drinks are available to order, such as Frappes, Lattes, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Enjoy at McCafe beverage as well as a selection of dessert from the dessert case. There are hand pies,. Cookies, and you can even order a slice of cake. Feeling hot? Of course you are, its Florida. Enjoy am ice cream cone or sundae from the McCafe.

What McDonalds would be complete without the World's Largest McDonald's Drive-Thru! This Drive-thru only serves the traditional McDonald's menu and due to its large size, may be a longer wait that your typical McDonalds Drive-Thru. There are two ordering lanes with two pickup windows to help speed the process along.

This is not your average McDonalds, It is the World’s Largest Entertainment McDonalds. It is also referred to as Epic McD. It is defiantly epic and it is defiantly worth a visit.
