There are plenty of sit down restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom if you looking for a place to sit back and relax, however if you are looking for just a quick snack while going around the parks then food stands are the way to go. Trill-Bites is located as soon as you enter DinoLand U.S.A from Discovery Island bridge. (Make sure you look over the bridge while walking over, you never know if a character will be enjoying a boat ride while you are there). Now Trilo-Bites has a simple selection of drinks, churro and ice cream but there are two dishes that are its specialty- Buffalo Chicken Chips and Trilo-Bites Twist.
The Buffalo Chicken Chip intrigued me when I first read about it. This dish is loaded of home made potato chips (super crunchy and crispy) topped with buffalo chicken, drizzled with blue cheese dressing and topped with celery carrot salad. The Buffalo chicken is more zingy than spicy so don’t let the name sway you away from it. Personally my celery carrot salad was celery tomato but it worked. The toppings were pretty centrally located so you can share the plain chips with those picky eaters. The whole family enjoy the dish and said that they would order it again.
This fun festive treat is a a twist of vanilla (green ice cream) and Dole Whip Orange (orange) served in a tall cup. This refreshing treat tastes just like a creamsicle, but with the fun green and orange colors in a twist that goes great with Donald’s Dino-Bash. Make sure you eat your ice cream quickly, remember you are in Florida and its hot.
